Our customer base is diverse. We produce well-known brands for mass merchandise, grocery and the pet specialty channels. Our expertise also allows us to manufacture unique diets for distribution to niche markets. Why is Elmira Pet Products such a success story? We are a non-unionized environment, with employees averaging 15 years tenure. Elmira Pet Products is conveniently located in southwestern Ontario, just off the 401 corridor. Co-owners Ken Morley and Bryan Cook are “hands on” owners, involved in every aspect of the day-to-day business.    Bryan personally oversees all aspects of manufacturing, quality, formula development and their revisions. This level of direct involvement ensures that our finished product meets or exceeds expectations. Bryan sits on the board of the Pet Food Association of Canada and has a solid network of contacts within the pet industry.    Ken is responsible for the financial side of the business, human resources, logistics and the high quality raw materials used by Elmira Pet Products.    Bryan and his family own a black lab named Maisy and two cats, Thomas and Lola. Ken’s family enjoys time with Bart, their adventuresome cat. Quality At Elmira Pet Products we take quality very seriously. We are audited by the American Institute of Baking, trusted as a valuable resource in producing, packaging, and distributing safe, high-quality foods. The rating of our last audit was 800, which places us in the category of “Excellent”. Chris Monkiewicz, the head of our quality assurance department, has worked in our facility for over 11 years, and has a Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering. He has implemented numerous internal quality programs that support our quality plan. Health & Safety At Elmira Pet Products our employees are our most valuable resource. We have a dedicated Joint Health & Safety committee who meet with all employees once per month. The forum is very open and two-way communication is encouraged. Our goal is an accident free work environment. The safety of our staff takes precedence and is reinforced by our Health & Safety Motto: “Nothing we do is worth an injury”
